This
chapter explains about
BOAT LICENSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES in
Burma/ Myanmar.
All yachts, boats
or vessels from any Foreign Country are required to register
to operate tourism business in Burma namely Mergui Archipelago, Andaman Sea,
Burma Banks. Scuba Diving, Live aboard Sea adventure tours, Sea
kayaking & snorkeling, diving safaris, Sport fishing and other activities also
need proper permit.
Registration
usually takes about 3-4 weeks. Details and photo by email
to entering from Victoria Point (Kawthaung/ Kho Thong/ kauthaung) - the southern
most Gatway to Myanmar (Burma).

• Special
permit
"Special Permit" is
for a single boat or yacht without prior license registration to enter Myanmar
Waters only once. All foreign registered Sail Boat/ yachts are required to apply
for permission to enter Myanmar Waters. Each application required a trip to
Yangon and Nay Pyi Daw the New Capital.
We take at least
one week to finish all the process in Yangon.
The fee for single
entry US$ 950 per boat.
We accept
last-minute express application (5 working days) at US$ 1,300.
Most urgent
requests within 24 hours service also available upon request.
Please send the
followings to our office (Victoria Point (Kawthaung) or Yangon.
1. The photos of
boats
2.The Registration
Certificate from home country.
3. The
specification of the boat.
4. Any other
relevant document e.g Captaine crew list and their nationalities, passenger
list.
• Trip permit
"Trip Permit" -
cruising permit is needed for each trip after the boat is approved for license
registration.
Each application
required a trip to Yangon and Nay Pyi Daw the New Capital.
We handle the trip
permissions which is a must for everybody to visit Mergui Archipelago.
In order to apply
trip permit we need the following information & documents.
1) Estimated date
of arrival/departure
2) The island lists
and draft schedule
3) The photographs
of passengers and crews
4) The particulars
of guests and crews

provide crew (Deck hand to Captain) as crew recruitment services. Our Agency's
administration & management team is always developing ways to improve quality of
human resources we provide. Currently we are supplying our seaman and workers to
Singapore, Malysia, Brunei and to supply workers to theRepublic of Korea, Japan
and U.A.E countries are underway.
